How To Make Spiced Fruit Loaf
A delicious and fragrant spiced fruit loaf packed with dried fruits, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
 - ½ cup of brown sugar
 - 1 tsp of baking powder
 - 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
 - ½ tsp of ground nutmeg
 - ¼ tsp of ground cloves
 - ¼ tsp of salt
 - ½ cup of milk
 - ½ cup of unsalted butter, melted
 - 1 tsp of vanilla extract
 - 1 cup of mixed dried fruits (such as raisins, currants, and chopped apricots)
 
Instructions
- 
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
 - 
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
 - 
Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined.
 - 
Fold in the dried fruits and mix until evenly distributed.
 - 
Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top using a spatula.
 - 
Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
 - 
Allow the spiced fruit loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
 - 
Serve the spiced fruit loaf as is or toasted with butter.
