How To Make Sesame & ginger green beans

This is a flavorful and healthy side dish made with fresh green beans, sesame oil, and ginger.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 2 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add the green beans to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and honey. Pour the mixture over the green beans and toss to coat.

  5. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the green beans and cook for an additional 1 minute.

  6. Serve the sesame & ginger green beans hot as a side dish.
