Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and chicken broth. Set aside.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the hot oil and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

  4. Add green beans to the skillet and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, until they are bright green and crisp-tender.

  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the green beans and toss to coat evenly.

  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.

  7. Season with salt, to taste.

  8. Serve hot as a side dish or with steamed rice as a main course.
