Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 pound green beans
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together miso paste, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil to make the marinade.

  3. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then brush both sides with the miso mustard marinade.

  4. Place the pork chops on the grill or in the oven, and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  5. While the pork chops are cooking, steam the green beans until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  6. In a large skillet, heat cooking oil over medium heat. Add the green beans and sesame seeds, then stir fry for 2-3 minutes until the beans are coated with the seeds and slightly crispy.

  7. Serve the miso mustard pork chops with the sesame green beans on the side.
