How To Make Sesame Ginger Shrimp Stir-Fry Recipe

An easy and flavorful stir-fry dish loaded with shrimp, colorful veggies, and a delicious sesame ginger sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar snap peas
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine sesame oil, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch. Whisk until fully combined.

  2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.

  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes per side or until pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add bell peppers and sugar snap peas. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until veggies are tender yet still crisp.

  5. Add shrimp back to the skillet and pour the sauce over the entire dish. Toss everything together until the sauce has thickened and coated everything evenly.

  6. Serve hot and garnish with sesame seeds.
