Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.

  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  4. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

  5. Pour chicken broth into the pan and scrape the bottom to deglaze.

  6. Add parsley and season with salt and pepper.

  7. Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture and serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
