How To Make Coconut Curry Shrimp Recipe

A flavorful and creamy coconut curry shrimp with a touch of spice!

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish


  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until onions are translucent.

  2. Add shrimp and cook until pink.

  3. Add curry powder, coconut milk, fish sauce, brown sugar, and lime juice. Simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve over rice.
