How To Make Dairy Free Rice Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups of almond milk
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse rice under cold water and drain.

  2. In a medium-sized saucepan, add rice, almond milk, sugar, and cinnamon.

  3. Stir and bring to a boil over medium heat.

  4. Lower heat and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally for 25-30 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the mixture is thick and creamy.

  5. Stir in vanilla extract and raisins (optional).

  6. Serve in bowls and sprinkle with extra cinnamon on top.
