Ingredients

  • 3 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water and bring to a boil. Allow the sugar to dissolve completely and set aside to cool.

  2. In a blender, puree the diced mangoes until smooth.

  3. Add the cooled sugar syrup and lime juice to the mango puree and blend again until well combined.

  4. Pour the mixture into a covered container and freeze for 2-3 hours or until firm.

  5. Use a fork to scrape the sorbet and serve.
