Ingredients

  • 2 apples, peeled and grated
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the grated apples, oats, whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, honey, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

  4. Heat a lightly greased skillet or griddle over medium heat.

  5. Spoon about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each flapjack.

  6. Cook until the edges are set and bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
