How To Make Tamarind Shrimp Stir-Fry

Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup tamarind pulp
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Rice for serving
Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together the tamarind pulp, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch until well combined.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat.

Add the shrimp and stir-fry until opaque, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the tamarind sauce to the skillet and continue to stir-fry until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes more.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve over rice.
