Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp tamarind paste
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then place in a baking dish.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together tamarind paste, brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, and garlic.

  4. Brush half of the glaze over the chicken.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then brush with remaining glaze.

  6. Bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
