How To Make Almond Joy Martini

Here’s a cocktail version of the coconut candy bar. This Almond Joy martini is made with coconut rum, vodka, and cream served in a chocolate-rimmed glass.

  • chocolate syrup,for serving
  • toasted almonds,finely chopped, for serving
  • 1ozvodka
  • 1ozcoconut rum
  • ½ozcream of coconut,such as Coco López
  • ½ozamaretto liqueur
  • 1ozhalf and half
  • ice


  1. Place chocolate syrup and chopped almonds on two separate small, shallow plates.

  2. Dip rims of martini glasses first in chocolate, then in almond. Chill until ready to use.

  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, coconut rum, cream of coconut, amaretto, and half and half.

  4. Fill shaker with ice and shake for about 30 seconds until cold.

  5. Drizzle more chocolate inside glasses.

  6. Strain cocktail into the prepared martini glass to serve.
