Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 plums, pitted and sliced
  • 100g marzipan, grated
  • 50g butter
  • 50g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into a circle slightly larger than your tart dish.

  3. In a tart dish, melt the butter and sugar over medium heat until it turns into a caramel.

  4. Add the sliced plums to the caramel and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.

  5. Remove the dish from heat and sprinkle the grated marzipan over the plums.

  6. Lay the puff pastry circle over the plums and tuck the edges inside the dish.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.

  8. Allow the tart to cool down for a few minutes, then carefully invert it onto a serving plate, so the plums are on top.

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
