  • Whipped cream, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, water, and lemon zest. Cook over medium heat until thickened and clear.

  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

  3. Arrange sliced strawberries in the pre-baked pie crust.

  4. Pour the cooled glaze over the strawberries, evenly covering them.

  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.

  6. Serve with whipped cream.
