  • 4 cups of sliced plums
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 cup of old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1/4 cup of chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced plums, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the oats, flour, melted butter, and chopped almonds. Mix until crumbly.

  4. Pour the plum mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.

  5. Sprinkle the oat topping over the plums, covering them completely.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the plums are tender and the topping is golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

  8. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
