Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the bananas, then arrange them in 4 dessert dishes.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter in 30-second increments, stirring after each interval until melted and smooth.

  3. Stir in the heavy cream until the mixture is glossy and blended.

  4. Pour the chocolate sauce over the bananas in the dishes, making sure they are well coated.

  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  6. Before serving, garnish with chopped nuts if desired.
