Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, peeled and halved
  • 8 spring roll wrappers
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Honey or chocolate sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface and place half a banana in the center.

  2. Sprinkle the banana with brown sugar and cinnamon.

  3. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the banana and roll tightly. Use a bit of water to seal the edge.

  4. Repeat with the remaining bananas and wrappers.

  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C).

  6. Fry the spring rolls until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.

  7. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.

  8. Serve the banana spring rolls warm with honey or chocolate sauce for dipping.
