
How To Make Quick Apple Crumble with Labneh
Rich in warm spices, enjoy a slice of this flaky apple crumble that’s topped with rich Middle-Eastern yogurt cheese or Labneh for a tastier bite.

Ingredients
- 6tbspunsalted butter
- 2large granny smith apples
- ¼cuplight brown sugar,plus 2 tbsp
- ½tspground cinnamon
- 1pinchnutmeg,freshly grated
- 1tbspfresh lemon juice
- ¼cupwater
- 2cuplabneh,(16 oz)
- 1cupgranola
Instructions

Heat the butter in a large skillet.

Add the apple slices and cook them over high heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 6 minutes until they are just tender and lightly browned.

Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice and cook, stirring and shaking the skillet, for about 5 minutes longer until the sugar is melted and the apples are lightly caramelized. Add the water and stir gently until a sauce forms.

Spoon the labneh into bowls and scrape the apples and sauce on top.

Sprinkle the apples with the granola and serve. Enjoy!
