How To Make Homemade Apple Crumble
Crisp apples are topped with a flaky crumble made with ginger, flour, and cinnamon for a sweet and luscious apple crumble that’s ready in just an hour.

Ingredients
- 6cupsapples,peeled and chopped, 1-inch pieces
- ¼cupsugar
- 2tbspflour
- 1tspcinnamon,or apple pie spice
For Crumble Topping:
- 1cupflour
- ⅓cupwhite sugar
- ⅓cupbrown sugar,packed
- ½tspcinnamon
- ⅛tspground ginger
- ¼tspsalt,or to taste
- ½cupunsalted butter,cold, cut into cubes
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Place all topping ingredients in a medium bowl. Use a pastry cutter to cut in butter for about 3 minutes until the mixture starts to stick together. Place in the fridge while preparing the apples.

Place apples in an 8×8-inch baking dish and toss with sugar, flour, and cinnamon.

Sprinkle topping over top and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden and apples are soft.
