How To Make Rice Krispies Date Orange Cookie
This orange cookie is studded with rice krispies and chopped dates. The cookie itself is moist, tender, and full of fiber and fruity goodness.

Ingredients
- 1cupbutter
- ½cupgranulated sugar
- ½cupbrown sugar,packed
- 1egg
- 1tspvanilla
- 2cupsall purpose flour
- 1tspground cinnamon
- ½tspbaking powder
- ¼tspbaking soda
- ¼tspsalt
- ¾cupdates,chopped
- 2tbspall purpose flour
- 1tbsporange rind,grated
- 1½cupsKellogg’s Rice Krispies Cereal
Instructions

In large bowl, with electric mixer, beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. In medium bowl, mix together 2 cups flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir into butter mixture.

In small bowl, toss dates with 2 tablespoons flour to separate pieces and coat well. Stir dates, orange rind, and cereal into dough.

Drop dough by rounded 1 tablespoon, about 2 inches apart, onto parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 8 minutes or until golden brown.

Let cool on baking sheet 2 minutes; transfer to cooling rack. Store in tightly covered container.
