How To Make Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast

- 8 slices of French bread
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the sliced strawberries and vanilla extract.

Cut a pocket in each slice of French bread, then spread the strawberry cheesecake mixture inside each pocket.

In a shallow dish, whisk together the milk and eggs until well combined.

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.

Dip each stuffed slice of bread into the milk and egg mixture, coating both sides.

Cook the French toast on the skillet or griddle for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
