How To Make Chinese Tofu Salad
A refreshing and healthy salad made with crispy tofu, colorful vegetables, and a zesty dressing.

Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp of black sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- For the dressing:
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of rice vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp of honey
- 1/2 tbsp of sesame oil
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp of grated ginger
Instructions
- In a non-stick skillet, cook the cubed tofu over medium heat until crispy on all sides. Set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, mix together the red and yellow bell peppers, cucumber, grated carrot, cilantro, and green onions.
- Add the cooled tofu to the bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Pour over the salad and toss well.
- Sprinkle black sesame seeds over the top of the salad.
- Serve chilled.
