Chinese Tofu and Green Bean Stir-Fry Recipe

How To Make Chinese Tofu and Green Bean Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 block of tofu, cut into small pieces
  • 1 lb of green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 inch of ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of hoisin sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan and stir-fry for 30 seconds.

  3. Add green beans to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still slightly crisp.

  4. Add tofu to the pan and stir to combine with the green beans.

  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and hoisin sauce.

  6. Pour the sauce into the pan and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is coated and heated through.

  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Serve hot with rice.
