How To Make Chinese Tofu and Vegetable Dumplings
These dumplings are filled with a savory mixture of tofu and vegetables, wrapped in a thin won ton wrapper, and steamed to perfection.

Ingredients
- 1 package of won ton wrappers
- 1/2 block of firm tofu, mashed
- 1/2 cup of shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup of chopped shiitake mushrooms
- 1/4 cup of chopped scallions
- 1 tbsp of minced ginger
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of sesame oil
- 1 tbsp of cornstarch
- 1/4 cup of water
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed tofu, shredded carrots, chopped shiitake mushrooms, scallions, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch.

Lay out the won ton wrappers on a flat surface and place 1 tsp of the filling in the center of each wrapper.

Dip your finger in water and run it along the edge of the wrapper.

Fold the wrapper in half to create a triangle shape and press along the edges to seal.

Place the dumplings in a steamer basket and steam for 10-15 minutes, or until the wrappers are cooked through.

Serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
