Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, honey, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.

  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together cornstarch and cold water until smooth.

  4. Slowly pour the cornstarch mixture into the saucepan, stirring constantly.

  5. Continue to cook the sauce, stirring occasionally, until thickened to desired consistency.

  6. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
