How To Make Lamb Koftas

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the ground lamb, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).

Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and flatten slightly to form koftas.

Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Cook the koftas for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through.

Serve hot with yogurt sauce, hummus, or on top of a bed of couscous.
