Delicious crab cakes with a perfect blend of spices and herbs!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 pound of lump crab meat
- 1 red bell pepper, finely diced
- 1 yellow onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup of Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Lemon wedges and chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the crab meat, red bell pepper, yellow onion, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Add the eggs and mix until everything is evenly incorporated.

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and form each into a patty. Coat each patty in Panko breadcrumbs.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Serve hot with lemon wedges and chopped parsley.
