How To Make Trio’s Margherita Pizza
A classic Neapolitan-style pizza featuring a simple tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, and fragrant basil leaves on a crisp homemade crust.

Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 500°F.

Dust a baking sheet or pizza stone with flour and roll out the pizza dough to a thickness of about 1/4 inch.

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top of the dough, leaving a small border.

Arrange the sliced mozzarella over the sauce.

Sprinkle the pizza with red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and salt to taste.
