How To Make Trefoils Lemon Bars Recipe

These sweet and tangy lemon bars are made with the classic Girl Scout Trefoils cookies as a crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Trefoils Girl Scout cookies
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 2 egg yolks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Crush Trefoils cookies in a plastic bag.

  3. Mix crushed cookies with melted butter in a bowl and press evenly into the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking pan.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix condensed milk, lemon juice, and egg yolks until well combined.

  5. Pour the mixture over the crust and bake for 25-30 minutes.

  6. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
