Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and jalapeño, cook for 1 minute.

  3. Add drained tomatoes, chili powder, and cumin. Cook for 2 minutes.

  4. Reduce heat to low, stir in cheese and heavy cream until melted and combined.

  5. Serve hot with tortilla chips.
