Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Brown the ground beef in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.

Add the beans, diced tomatoes (with the juices), tomato sauce, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour.
