How To Make Hot Dog on a Stick’s Corn Dogs Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 hot dogs
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 4 wooden skewers
- vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

Heat oil in a large pot or fryer.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk together egg and milk.

Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.

Skewer each hot dog and dip into the batter, making sure it is coated well.
