Ingredients

  • 4 veggie hot dogs
  • 1 cup of cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of paprika
  • 1 cup of non-dairy milk
  • 4 skewers
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and paprika.

  2. Slowly add the non-dairy milk until the batter is smooth and thick enough to coat the hot dogs.

  3. Thread each hot dog onto a skewer.

  4. Heat oil in a frying pan or deep fryer.

  5. Dip each hot dog into the batter until fully coated.

  6. Fry in hot oil, turning occasionally until golden brown.

  7. Serve immediately.
