How To Make Debra’s Chicken Pot Pie Recipe
A wholesome and comforting dish with tender chicken, veggies, and savory gravy baked under a flaky crust.

Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 cup of cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup of frozen peas and carrots
- 1/2 cup of frozen corn
- 1/2 cup of diced potatoes
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 2 tbsp of flour
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
- 1/4 tsp of dried thyme
Instructions

Take the pre-made pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Set aside.

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until smooth.

Slowly pour in chicken broth and milk, continuously whisking until mixture is thick and bubbly.

Add salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Stir well.

Add cooked chicken, frozen peas and carrots, frozen corn, and diced potatoes. Mix until well combined.

Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared pie crust.

Top the chicken mixture with another sheet of pre-made pie crust and crimp the edges.

Cut a few slits on top of the crust to allow steam to escape.

Bake in a preheated oven to 375°F for 45-50 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
