How To Make Debra’s Beef Stew Recipe
A hearty and comforting stew recipe with tender beef, vegetables, and flavors of thyme and garlic.

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef stew meat, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add beef and brown on all sides. Remove from pot and set aside.

In the same pot, add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until vegetables are softened.

Add garlic and cook for another minute.

Add beef back to the pot, along with potatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 2 hours.

Serve hot with crusty bread or over rice.
