How To Make Debra’s Apple Pie Recipe
The perfect apple pie recipe with a flaky, buttery crust and sweet, juicy apple filling.

Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 5 cups thinly sliced peeled apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.

In a large bowl, mix together apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Pour mixture into pie crust, dot with butter.

Cover pie with a second pie crust or cut lattice strips for a decorative top. Crimp edges to seal.

Bake for 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
