Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • Orange slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  5. Add balsamic vinegar, orange juice, honey, and rosemary sprigs. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.

  6. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

  7. Serve the chicken with the sauce and garnish with orange slices.
