How To Make Oatmeal with Dates
This healthy recipe is good for people who are trying to lose weight. This dish is light yet filling.
- 1 cup oats
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup dates (pitted and halved)
- Bring water to a boil.
- Add salt and add rolled oats slowly.
- Cover over low flame in a double boiler.
- Cook 45 minutes.
- When done add dates.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Serve with cream and sugar.
