How To Make Cereal-Crusted Fish Fillets

Crispy fish fillets with a crunchy cereal crust, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
  • 2 cups corn flakes cereal
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Crush corn flakes in a bowl until they resemble coarse breadcrumbs. Mix in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and black pepper.

  3. Dip each fish fillet into the beaten eggs, then coat in the cereal mixture, pressing gently to coat evenly.

  4. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, until the coating is crispy and golden.

  5. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
