Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 2 cups of your favorite cereal, crushed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat.

  2. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. Dip each side of the bread slices into the egg mixture, ensuring that they are evenly coated.

  4. Press both sides of each slice into the crushed cereal.

  5. Melt 1 tbsp of butter on the heated griddle or skillet.

  6. Place the coated slices of bread onto the griddle, cooking until both sides are golden brown and crispy (approximately 3-4 minutes per side).

  7. Repeat with the remaining slices of bread, adding additional butter as needed.

  8. Serve with your favorite syrup or toppings.
