How To Make Mom’s Carrot Banana Bread Recipe

- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, grated carrots, melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana-carrot mixture, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
