How To Make Mom’s Buttermilk Pancakes
No breakfast is complete without hot stacks of delicious pancakes! You may not be a morning person now, but with our yummy pancake recipes you certainly will be! Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Cooking spray or additional butter for greasing the pan
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.

Repeat with the remaining batter.

Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as syrup, fruit, or whipped cream.
