Ingredients

  • 1 cup lentil flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine lentil flour, salt, cumin powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and baking soda. Mix well.

  2. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients and mix until a thick batter is formed.

  3. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and brush with olive oil.

  4. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet and spread it out into a thin, round shape using the back of a spoon.

  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Repeat with the remaining batter.

  7. Serve the lentil flatbread warm as an appetizer or as a side dish.
