How To Make Red Bell Pepper and Goat Cheese Tart Recipe

A savory tart with a crispy crust, creamy goat cheese, and sweet roasted red peppers.

  • 1 ready-to-bake pie crust
  • 1 red bell pepper, roasted and sliced
  • 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Roll out pie crust and line a 9-inch tart pan.

  3. Arrange sliced red pepper on the bottom of the crust and sprinkle with crumbled goat cheese.

  4. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, salt, and pepper. Pour over the red pepper and goat cheese.

  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the tart is golden brown and the filling is set.

  6. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
