How To Make Grandma Dot’s Stuffing Balls

Stuffing is a great add-on to your main dishes. More than just something to fill the turkey with during Thanksgiving, stuffing is a wonderful side dish to complement your dish of choice. There’s no stopping you in enjoying this stuffing recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of diced onion
  • 1/2 cup of diced celery
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 tsp of dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp of dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs, onion, celery, parsley, melted butter, chicken broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

  3. Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the stuffing balls are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

  5. Serve hot as a side dish with roasted turkey or your favorite main course.
