  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for a minute until fragrant.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, cornstarch, salt, and pepper until well combined.

  3. Add the milk mixture to the saucepan and stir well. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.

  4. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool for a few minutes before serving.
