How To Make Sweet Potato Casserole

This classic sweet potato casserole is perfect for any holiday gathering or family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Boil sweet potatoes in a large pot until tender, about 10-15 minutes.

  3. Drain and mash sweet potatoes in a bowl.

  4. Add melted butter, brown sugar, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the bowl. Mix well.

  5. Transfer mixture to a casserole dish.

  6. Top with mini marshmallows.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until marshmallows are golden brown.
