  • 1 lb fresh spinach, washed and chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.

  2. Add spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.

  3. Add cream cheese, heavy cream, and nutmeg to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
