How To Make Easter Salad with Candied Pecans
A colorful salad filled with fresh veggies, fruits, and sweet candied pecans.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/2 avocado, diced
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a small saucepan, melt butter and add sugar. Cook until sugar dissolves.

Add pecans and stir until fully coated. Spread pecans on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, strawberries, blueberries, avocado, red onion, and feta cheese.

In a separate bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Drizzle dressing over the salad and toss to combine.

Top the salad with candied pecans before serving.
